Tangiers are a Canadian indie rock band based in Toronto, Ontario. Tangier's music conveys prominent pop inclinations, played with an adamant vigour.

The band's 2003 album 'Hot New Spirit' topped the campus and community radio charts. Hot New Spirits contains first-class song writing, persistent melodies, and brisk tempos that stalwartly display the Tangiers' musical talents.

Reichmann and Sayce reformed Tangiers after the other two band members left the band that year, adding ex-Guided by Voices drummer Jon McCann and keyboardist Shelton Deverell to the lineup.

The band released two more albums, 'Never Bring You Pleasure' in 2004 and 'The Family Myth' in 2005.

In 2013 the band reunited after a long hiatus to perform at Toronto's North by Northeast festival.
